Property Description

Our home is a 2400 sq. ft. 2 story full D log home. We are located 3 miles north of Mufreesboro, Arkansas; 4 1/2 miles from Lake Greeson; and 6 1/2 miles from the Crater of Diamonds State Park. Last year a neighbor of ours was picked to be on the tv show Extreme Makeover. It was very interesting to have all the excitement around our small town. We still have traffic from time to time. At Lake Greeson, there are camping sites, boating, kayaking, and great bass fishing. On the other side of the dam is a river that they keep stocked with trout and the fishing is wonderful. Above the lake is our wild life management area, great for deer and turkey hunters. We also have the Caddo Indian Burial Mounds located just out of town. Our town is located about 1 hour from Texarkana, AR@TX; if you were to go north it would be about 1 hour from Hot Springs, AR. Both of these cities are equipt with hospitals, specalists, malls, and movie theaters. Hot Springs also has a race track for horses. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, kithcen/dining, living room, and utility. At the back of the house we have a 24'x24' open carport. We have 2 Lennox heat and air pumps. One controls the upstairs and the other is for downstairs. Also for extra heat in the winter we have a gas rock fireplace in the living room and it's lovely to sit and watch. The majority of the ceilings downstairs have tin on them and the whole upstairs is tin. The walls and the ceiling in the loft is tin. This is great for a gameroom because you don't have to worry about the kids tearing up the walls. We use the loft for a gameroom, office, and exercise. It could be easily turned into a closed off room from the downstairs or made into 3 separate rooms. Our flooring through out the downstairs is laminated wood and the upstairs is carpeted. The ceiling in our living room is vaulted and you can look up into the gameroom or when your upstairs you can look downstairs. My boys love to sit upstairs and watch tv through the stair railing. In our master bedroom, we have a big bay window with a seat and storage underneath. The storage is great for blankets, pillows, or even guns and bows. Located off the master bedroom is our bath which has a corner jacuzzi, walk-in shower with glass door, his and her vanity, and his and her walk-in closet.
